Les Lumières

The boutique hotel Les Lumières, neighbor of the illustrious Château de Versailles, was born from the merger of two historic pavilions named Gramont and Villacerf. The Gramont pavilion was fully reconstructed in the 19th century while Villacerf was converted into the Hôtel des Voyageurs around 1820 & refurnished in the beginning of the 20th century.

Each of our 31 rooms and suites proudly bears the name of a flamboyant and inspiring French figure from the Age of Enlightenment. On the first floor of Les Lumières is the majestic Café Pierre Hermé, with its six-meter -high ceilings and panoramic view over Place d’Armes. Here, you can enjoy an exceptional sweet and savory menu, signed by the Chef, voted “World’s Best Pastry Chef”. On the first floor, lulled by the murmur of the garden fountain in summer, savor the refined dishes of our La Table des Lumières restaurant.
