Hotel Chais Monnet is located in Cognac, in the region of Charente. The ride from Paris is 5 hours long by car, and 3 hours by train (or 35 minutes from Bordeaux by train)
The hotel was built in the old Chais of Cognac ‘Monnet’, giving it a unique charm. The village of Cognac is very small, and you will be able to walk to the three major Cognac houses (Hennessey, Martell, Rémy Martin).
The hotel is a 90 key property, but spread out over 2 hectares, amidst the vineyards.
The wellness experience in Chais Monnet is also outstanding (Spa, inside and outside swimming pool).

Surrounded by countryside, these rustic lodges built in 1858 are 1 km from Courant d’Huchet, and a 3-minute walk from Lette Blanche Beach. Even though secluded, it is just about an hour and a half from both Bordeaux and Biarritz and 40 km from the Dax train station.
It is very exclusive and perfect for visitors who want to be cut away from everyone while enjoying the delights of a fully private beach view. Visitors often enjoy arranged yoga classes on the beach as well as surfing lessons.
Each of the houses is perfectly suited for a couple but would often be able to accommodate a toddler and a nanny as well.
