With Decoverte’s exclusive network of partners in the world of classical music and dance, we invite you to be a part of the best musical festivals and events of the autumn season in Paris.
We will be presenting you with world-class musical events throughout September.
Below are some of the amazing events of September.
AMANDA PINA
Frontera / Procession – A Ritual of Água
September 11 to 25
This festival of dance, arts, and culture celebrates endangered human movements. The show is designed by Amanda Piña and has its roots in the history of the conquest and colonization of America.
Noah Soulier
Movement upon Movement
September 12 and 13
Watch French choreographer and philosopher Noé Soulier stimulate this physical response in the audience by transforming practical gestures like hitting, throwing, and grasping into unfinished, interrupted movements. In a constantly changing puzzle of movement, Soulier composes rhythm in the way you would write movement.
BRYANA FRITZ
Submission, Submission
September 12 and 13
In Submission Submission, Bryana Fritz takes on the role of “amateur hagiographer”, the amateur being both a beginner and etymologically a lover, and the hagiographer, the one who writes the lives of the saints.
BOUCHRA OUIZGUEN
Elephant
September 14 to October 11
In Elephant, Bouchra Ouizguen brings together performers, singers, and musicians from the Moroccan popular tradition in the south of the country and faithful collaborators for several shows. Dance has always been part of their life, their family, and their history. Together, they invent a choreographic language where the singularity of each course meets a common horizon. The voices, the songs, and the music played on stage draw the score of this group with the appearance of an ancient choir.
