Les Folles Journées de Nantes

Every spring since 1995, the city of Nantes has held a classical music festival named La Folle Journée. For five days there are around 250 classical music concerts of fairly short duration (45 minutes) at an affordable price. Most of the concerts take place at Nantes Convention Centre.



The Paris-Roubaix Challenge

The Paris-Roubaix challenge is a bicycle ride that takes place in April and is open to all cycling tourism fans aged 18 and over. This sporting challenge is organised by ASO, which also organises the Tour de France and the leg of the Tour.



Venetian Carnival at Lake Annecy

A festival of costumes, canals and parks taken by the crowd: it's almost like Venice, minus the gondolas! Every year, the weekend after Mardi Gras, the city of Annecy recreates the magic of the Venetian carnival.



Bird and Nature Festival

Since 1991, the Somme Bay has celebrated birds at the Bird and Nature Festival, which takes place every year in April. The festival is a public event offering activities for the whole family over a period of nine days. (May 19-21, 2016) 



The Saint-Étienne International Design Biennial
From April 28, 2021 to August 22, 2021
Every two years in the spring since 1998, the city of Saint-Étienne has hosted the International Design Biennial, organised by the Saint-Étienne Regional School of Fine Arts and produced and managed by the Cité du Design centre. The aim of this event is to promote contemporary design and make it accessible to a wide audience.



The Great Roman Games in Nimes
From April 29, 2021 to May 3, 2021
From 1 to 3 may 2020, 500 reenactors from France, Italy, Croatia and Germany will gather in the exceptional setting of the Arena of Nîmes to take part in the Great Roman Games, a unique event that has established itself as the largest historical reenactment on antiquity in Europe.



D-Day Festival
