This 19th century residence was built on the site of a farm of the Knights Templar, by Jean-Baptiste Jacotot, a great traveller who brought back many species of trees from his expeditions all over the world ; many of these still contribute to the charm of the surrounding grounds.

The old buildings have been completely renovated to ensure you receive a warm and comfortable reception in this historic place. Owners are here to welcome you and make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. They hope you will have a very memorable stay.

Provence then served as a base to conquer Gaul in 58-51 BC. This base was referred to “Provincia Romana”, and this is where the word “Provence” originates.
