Panache is a stylish 12 passenger hotel barge, with spacious public areas and six comfortable double or twin en suite cabins.

All the bathrooms have twin handbasins and oversized showers. There are panoramic windows in the saloon and the hotel barge has been fitted out in traditional yacht style with brass and mahogany fittings. A large sun deck and spa pool, plus 12 bicycles for guests’ use to explore the towpath complete the picture.

Panache's highly professional crew of six is comprised of Master Chef, Deck Hand/Steward, Tour guide and two Housekeepers, led by a knowledgeable and experienced Captain who will ensure your cruise is memorable and more. La Ferté-sous-Jouarre to Châlons-en-Champagne

Sunday, Day 1 Paris
Guests are met at the **designated meeting point and transferred to the hotel barge moored in La Ferté-sur-Jouarre. Enjoy a Champagne welcome while your Captain introduces you to the crew. Dinner on board.

Monday, Day 2 La Ferté-sur-Jouarre to Château-Thierry
This morning, the hotel barge sets off on her voyage along the meandering River Marne and cruises to Château-Thierry, an historic, strategically-situated town overlooking the river, surrounded by vineyards that produce some of the region’s famous sparkling wine. The town is also the site of an iconic battle for American Marines in World War One.  After lunch on board, we visit La Maison Pannier, a select champagne house with a labyrinth of medieval underground cellars, for a tour and a private tasting. Dinner on board.

Tuesday, Day 3 Château-Thierry to Courcelles
After breakfast, we visit the World War One battlefield and monument at Château Thierry, before paying our respects to the fallen at the magnificent American cemetery at Belleau Wood. After returning to the barge and lunch on board, we enjoy a relaxing afternoon cruise along the Marne to our mooring at Courcelles. Dinner on board.

Wednesday, Day 4 Courcelles to Cumières
This morning we continue our cruise along the beautiful River Marne, passing through the champagne vineyards to our mooring at Cumières. After lunch on board, we head into the nearby town of Epernay, home to many of the major champagne houses for a cellar tour and tasting.  There is time afterwards to explore the town and to do some shopping. Dinner ashore.

Thursday, Day 5 Cumières to Tours-sur-Marne
This morning, we visit the pretty hilltop village of Hautvillers. Known as the ‘cradle of Champagne’, it is here that the monk Dom Perignon discovered the ‘méthode champenoise’.  Returning to the barge, we join the Canal Lateral à la Marne and cruise to our pretty mooring at Tours-sur-Marne, joining the Canal Lateral à la Marne en route. Then, after lunch on board, we visit one of the most select champagne makers, Domaine Ployez-Jacquemart, for a private tour and, of course, enjoy a tasting. Dinner on board.

Friday, Day 6 Tours-sur-Marne to Châlons-en-Champagne
This morning, we visit the magnificent 800-year-old Reims cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece where the Kings of France were crowned. We also visit one of the city’s ‘fromagiers’ to taste some of the region’s wonderful cheeses.  After lunch on board, we cruise to our final mooring at Châlons-en-Champagne. Captain’s Farewell Dinner on board.

Saturday, Day 7 Châlons-en-Champagne
After breakfast, disembark Panache and transfer to the designated drop off point.
