La Belle Epoque has been designed with both elegance and passenger comfort in mind and offers a sun deck with spa pool, wood-panelled saloon/dining room and other luxury amenities.

She is also fully air-conditioned. The Captain leads a crew of six comprising Master Chef,  Deck-Hand, Tour Guide and two Housekeepers.


Cabins:

There are two spacious Junior suites and four staterooms, with either twin or queen bed configurations. Each cabin has its own all marble en-suite bathroom.

The landscape around the Burgundy Canal is one of rolling hills eroded over the centuries and covered in forests of oak, maple and pine and where spring, summer and autumn each leave a unique signature. Medieval towns are surrounded by unspoilt countryside and the wonderful markets have stalls brimming with fresh local products cultivated on the fertile plains.


Sunday, Day 1 VENAREY-LES-LAUMES
Guests are met at the designated meeting point in Paris and transferred to La Belle Epoque.

Monday, Day 2 VENAREY-LES-LAUMES TO MONTBARD
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast followed by a visit to the hilltop village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain. On the way from the summit of Mount Auxois, we look at Alesia, the last battle site between the Gauls and Romans.

Tuesday, Day 3 MONTBARD TO RAVIÈRES
Morning cruise to the Forges de Buffon and then after lunch we escort you to the exquisite World Heritage UNESCO site of Abbaye de Fontenay founded by St Bernard in 1118.

Wednesday, Day 4 RAVIÈRES TO ANCY-LE-FRANC
Morning visit to medieval Noyers-sur-Serein. After lunch enjoy a lazy afternoon cruise past grazing Charolais cattle.

Thursday, Day 5 ANCY-LE-FRANC TO LEZINNES
Gentle morning cruise as your hotel barge descends through the picturesque locks and past the beautiful 16th century Renaissance palace. We tour the vineyards and town of Chablis, then enjoy a private wine tasting at the family-run Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard.

Friday, Day 6 LEZINNES TO TANLAY
After breakfast we enjoy a leisurely cruise to our final mooring at Tanlay.  We visit the 16th century Renaissance-style Château de Tanlay, nestling serenely within this picturesque village.

Saturday, Day 7 TANLAY
After breakfast, disembark La Belle Epoque and transfer to the designated drop-off point in Paris.
