Jazz in Marciac is a musical event that has been held under the stars in August since 1978. Over 200,000 people meet every year in the small village of Marciac to enjoy this gathering with famous jazzmen illustres and young musicians. For a fortnight, concerts take place under a giant marquee or at the Astrada.

A fringe festival also takes place on the main square in Marciac, which still has its medieval arcades. Smaller Jazz in Marciac sessions also take place at other times of the year.
