With over 1,000 exhibitors from forty or so countries and 3,000 animals on display, the show is a real showcase for agriculture in all its diversity. Each year, for 9 days, around 700,000 visitors wander the avenues of Porte de Versailles, enjoying the daily activities.
The International Agricultural Show consists of 4 areas: livestock farming and its related industries, with the finest animals from 360 breeds on display; gastronomic products from France and elsewhere, for a walk through the heart of French culinary tradition and a chance to discover new flavours in the “agricultures and delicacies of the world"; cultivation and the plant industries, to find out all about the main crops, cereals, wood, plants and flowers; and the agricultural services and trades, for a chance to learn more about training and career opportunities in the sector.
